We’re Tom and Aiden—two friends from Walsall, in the heart of the West Midlands, UK. Topcap began with a shared curiosity: a deep fascination with mushrooms, nutrition, and the quiet, powerful intelligence of nature.
By day, we work in very different industries—Aiden in tech, and Tom in the arts—but what connects us is a lifelong interest in health, wellbeing, and the weird, wonderful world of fungi. The more we learned, the more obsessed we became: from brain-boosting Lion’s Mane to space-origin theories, mushrooms kept surprising us. They’re ancient, futuristic, and packed with potential.
We believe in the power of food as medicine, and we’re building TopCap to share that belief. Our goal is simple but ambitious:
To grow exceptional quality, rare and unusual mushrooms—and to help people feel better by eating better.
We’re not a big company. Just two local lads in our early 30s, building something real and honest from the ground up. Topcap is our way of working for ourselves, doing something we love, and offering something we believe in.
